Life in Melbourne -- Close
Still can't believe that I'm back in my own room..sitting down on the floor, blogging after doing my quiet time. Just realize how far I have been drifted away from God's word and His presence. It's time to come home, back to the house of God, back to His words...
By now, I had already left Melbourne for more than one day. My last few days in Melbourne were fully occupied. Finally, on Monday morning 27th of June, I made a trip to the 12 apostles, the Great Ocean Road. No one would believe that I drove there, well, not by myself, but with my uncle's family. The journey was tideous. I would categorize it as a once in a life time journey, which will possibly means, I won't go back unless necessary. Spent a whole day with my uncle and family.
On Tuesday, last minute shopping. This time, I fully concentrate on souvenirs, still, end up buying things for myself. Bad bad bad...
The party starts at NIGHT>...
My two lovely cousins actually planned a farewell party for me! They actually made an effort to call my music conv friends, well, two of them turned up, Yoyo and Bell. I was really surprise. I received my first bouquet of flowers from my cousins!and some presents along with the flowers! I really didn't think that it will turn out this way. Really thankful and happy. So thoughtful of them even though they were in the midst of moving to a new apartment. Thanks a bunch to the both of them and to those who came to the farewell party,*you know who you guys are*. Honestly, life in Melbourne wouldn't be complete without you guys, and those who spent time with me during my last few days in Melbourne....
Not going to talk about every single detail...cause I was drunk after that, due to some drinking games!ahahha..but it was a fun night!=)
Got up on Wednesday morning, and had a hang over for about 15 mins. Then, start packing up my stuff...had dimsum with a few other friends, then left for the airport.
Saying goodbye wasn't easy. I thought it wouldn't be hard, but it was. I didn't allow my tears to fall for I know that they are precious. Everything happens so quickly that I don't even have time to react...don't even have time to get anything for my friends and cousins in Melbourne...don't even have time to say a proper goodbye to some of my friends..Friends, I'm sorry, but, we'll meet again, somewhere, someday, in that I believe.
