Greetings from Melbourne

My dear blog. I just realize that I haven't post anything since 13th of Feb! I'm sorry! For those who are still wondering whether or not I've got into the univesity of Melbourne, the answer is YES! Thank god!Yup, by the way, I'm already in Melbourne. I arrived on the 22nd, which was a Tuesday. Ever since then, I had been really busy, I mean REALLY! Gosh, once my parents and I got back to my aunty's house, done with those extremely heavy baggage *those who know me, you'll definitely know why is it, cuz it wouldn't be grace then!*gringrin** Yeah, so, after taking a nice hot shower, we went to this little shanghai restaurant at Glen Waverley (my current home) for lunch. They serve really nice taiwanese beef noodles and dumplings. After filling up our stomach, we took a 45min train ride to Melbourne City to do some bankings and enroll me if possible.
Still 22nd. As we arrived, we went straight to City bank, and then to ANZ bank, which is the local bank to open up an account. To be honest, being a person who seldom do banking,including getting money out of the atm,(if you're wondering, do you even have an atm card?YES, i do. it's just that I don't need to do so back home..) I am really thankful that my parents are with me. After that, we took a tram on Swanston Street to Melbourne Univ. Wow..GOSH!IT's huge! We walked around to look for a place where I could enroll. Finally, after like 20 mins of searching, found it! So, I went down to Wilson Hall to do my enrollment. Unfortunately, I need to go to my Faculty to confirm and choose subject, which, of cuz, I didn't know then. Since I did not bring along any documents, I decided to come again tomorrow.
We took a tram back to the city, took a train back to Glen Waverley, another 45 mins!
23rd. On this day, I brought all my documents, took a train*yes, again*, took a tram, down to melbourne univ * with my parents*. When we arrive at the univ, now again, we have to look for the music faculty. Since we got off at the front, now, we have to walk all the way to the back, which was like 1-2km!!nevermind that, good weather. Thank god. Finally, the Music Faculty. I went in, ask the person at the front desk what should I do. The lady being really helpful, gave me like a pile of papers, direct me to do this and that. I was like, HUH??omg..So unbelievable, 2days of orientation, so much work>?? Since the practical and aural tutorial will be held in 15mins, she told me to attend it.I was like, okay. Oh yeah, I got this tutor, a 2nd year student, name John, to show me around since i've missed the 1st two days. A really nice guy though, really helpful. Back to the tutorial. The 1st one is on practical studies 1-1. The professor played like 5 pieces and ask us to write down the name of each piece and the composer *if possible*, and if you don't know, just write don't know! So, I wrote, I DON'T KNOW, for all questions!ahahah..guess music is not that easy after all...After an hour of tutorial, I attended the aural studies class,which was pretty interesting. This lady lecturer of mine is a really nice lady! She's really helpful and friendly. Her class is pretty interesting, I would say. We did like some singing, and some clapping, identifying the chords *which wasn't fun at all,cuz I don't know*...at the end of the class, I met John, my tutor downstairs, and we went for a tour around the Univ. At the end of the tour, it's already 4.30pm, nothing can be done, still haven't enroll yet! Then I met up with my parents and my two luvly cousin, Erica and Kylie. We took a tram back to the city, and went for my 1st meal of the day!! Later, got back on the train, back to Glen.
24th, today. Today was really busy. Got up pretty early today, like 9am. Took my shower, once again, went to the train station, took a train, then a tram to the bank 1st. Thought of grapping some food, but can't make it though. My parents went to do some banking while I went to the Univ. So, I took the tram to Univ. However, due to stupidity, I went up to the wrong tram. Instead of taking route19, I took route57! As soon as i realize that I took the wrong tram, I got down, walk a distance, and took tram route 19 to Faculty of Music. Today's weather is like 35 degrees! OMG! So hot, and I was wearing all black! How stupid again. Anyway, I reached the univ just in time for another round of tour with John to another part. At 12, I had to sit for my musicianship test, basically testing on aural and theory, conducted by my aural lecturer, the nice lady. The rest of the student took it on the 1st day of orientation. So, I was the only one doing it today. It was hard, cuz, I can't seem to listen anything. The last question was to comment on two pieces, after listening to 1, I wrote down the comment, and the lecturer told me that there were actually 2 pieces!OMG>..so funny. At 1.20pm, I went for my interview. There, I was required to play a piece, then interviewed by the professor. This, was pwetty alrite. After that, I went all the way to Wilson Hall, which was like so far away, I couldn't event find it...gotto ask. Enroll myself, took my photo, yeah, a pwetty nice one, much better than my taylor's one..hehee..one thing that I am really satisfied about so far. Then, took my diary. After that, I got to go to the internet place to sign up fo email acount, check my timetable (which wasn't availabel). After that, took another walk back to the faculty of music, in the hot sun!!dying..When i reached, went to the front desk, told the lady, and she told me, yes, you're pretty much done!So glad to hear that, such a relieve! The next big thing, I already have assignment to do!!omg..for music techniques!which I do not know rite now, cuz they need to take 48 hours to activate!Which means, I can only do it over the weekends!!sad sad...assignment on orientation week?what??!!yeah..after the sad sad news, i took a tram to the city, met my parents, went for shopping!!yes, how long was it??!! Then, at 5pm, i finally had my first meal of the day!!yes!!
Pretty tired now...so gonna sleep.Its already 12am now!bye blog!!Gotto wake up early tomorrow morning to go down to the city, look for apartment. Adios!
