Hanging In There
*south boston art district*
I never knew how it felt being lonely until I left home.
However, when I saw you, I knew that I was not the only one.
You too,
were struggling to keep yourself from swaying when the wind blows,
grasping on firmly to the wire,
just so that you won’t fall,
and fail to shine as you were suppose to, in the dark.
Every second is a constant struggle for survival.
Yet, you strive to hang in there.
Therefore, so should I.
