The NewYear of the Chinese goes..

Destination No. 1 --> NewYork NewYork



After a long night out on Friday, early saturday morning, Shaburockabella a.k.a Ms. Isabel Lam and I took the 8a.m *LuckyStar* (cheapest transportation to NYC), to New York. Mind you, it was a four hour ride to. We came back on the same day. Which adds up to 8 hours in total! *phew..8 hours just for the sake of *YeeSang*, cause we could not find it in Boston, and also some shopping, including groceries shopping, yes, all the way to NYC, and of course, real shopping! Spring Street, Mercer Street where Marni is, Soho..etc. Each time we come, we discover some new unique shops. *Thumbs up!
At the end of the day, we got what we need for CNY, and even found Malaysia Beef Jerky a.k.a *yook gon*!!!Back to the bus, and back to Boston. A very purposeful day trip!=)

Destination No. 2 --> DimSum @ China Pear. 1st day of CNY.

On the first day of CNY, part of the MAS crew had DimSum. It was our dear aunty Lisa's birthday too!! The woman in a black top with a red scarf who does not act like her age, yes, that is our dearest aunty Lisa, the wonderful harpist!*love you long time* quote from Steph. At night, we had a little gamble session at my place with tea and cookies all the way from home. *sweetness*.

Destination No. 3 --> Reunion Dinner @ Penang. 2nd day of CNY.




Happy Chinese New Year.

After the meal, the *YeeSang*, all the way from NYC fulfilled it's purpose.
Aunty Lisa had two cakes for her birthday.
Everyone was in a jolly good mood.=)

On a sadder note, next year's reunion dinner, we will probably have only half of the crew left, because most of the crew members are graduating at the end of this spring semester or the coming fall semester. *sob..
Oh well oh well, at least we had a great time this year!=)

Now that I remember, about a month ago, over pastas and wine, I had a rather interesting conversation with Ryu. The conversation went...
Ryu: Hey what year is it in the Lunar calender?
Me: hmm..Pig, i think.
Ryu: yeah..the pig with the two horns?
Me: hmmm..oh..horny pig?
*laughter from everyone*
Me: what so funny?
Ryu: ...you just said Horny pig.
